Okay.... doing some world building now.

I hope no one has vertigo I like how different it is!
What do we propose for transportation to and from the school? Because they'd also need supplies etc
I was feeling some kind of teleportation maybe?

Astralis Academy

In a world of advanced technology, where ten percent of the world’s population have been gifted with superhuman abilities that in some cases make them closer peers with gods than men, an organization has been established to catalog and cultivate the abilities of these individuals known simply as “Gifted.”

Separated around puberty from the rest of the population and their parents, Gifted children are educated and raised among their own. Groomed from youth to respect and adhere to the established social order—the most talented Gifted youths graduate to become Heroes who maintain the order and segregation that allows for a crime-free society.

The Extra-Normal Disbursement Foundation maintains records on all Gifted individuals—even those who don’t earn the rank of “Hero.” “No power without purpose,” is the organization’s motto and stance to justify the compulsory registration and segregation of young men and women from their families and society at-large.

Most never question the order that the ENDF preserves and enforces.

The indoctrination to the established order is an important part of Gifted education, and those who distinguish themselves through strength, ingenuity or enthusiasm are selected to join the prestigious airborne academy—the flying campus, Astralis Academy.

Despite their unconventional campus, Astralis is the envy of every military or educational facility known to humankind. 95% of Gifted students who achieve the level of Hero train at AA, and all of the faculty are members of the “Immortals Pantheon,” a sort of Hall of Fame for retired heroes.

But human nature remains—even among super humans, and in a world of the super powered, power determines status and status denotes order.

Well aside from floating cities (an offer from your profile) there are also various Gifted who can fly back and forth.

Further, I imagine a big start of the year ceremony where the whole school lands, graduates the outgoing students and welcomes freshmen at the start of each year.

Also, other ships. I imagine there's a pretty robust "port" that can send and receive smaller crafts.

Oh other ships and the landing is a great idea, particularly for mass transportation - all those students to load into the school at the start of the year would be quite hefty any other way. I like the idea of a faculty member who can create rifts and portals too though, locked doors no longer have any meaning.

Double-Edged Cost (Curse):

Empathic Feedback Loop – For every emotion she manipulates, a mirrored echo of that emotion seeps into her own psyche. When she induces lust, she feels it tenfold. When she inspires fear, that fear infects her mind. If she overuses it, she risks emotional overload — losing herself in a torrent of others’ desires, fears, or traumas.

The deeper she goes, the more blurred the line becomes between what she feels and what others do. It threatens her ability to distinguish who she really is.

I do like the fact I can upload my own images without requiring a hosting site now - the Lit overhaul has some agreeable features. Photobucket was exhausting back in the day

Yes. It was honestly really useful to be able to host images as attachments and then include the image to the post.

Oh eeeeee haha i love the fact you've given me an opener there. This is fantastic! I can't wait to see where our headmistress starts out now! I love the description of the pheromones having a smell particular to the person smelling it.

And close enough to allow for a lot of individuality, and expression. Gender fluid students can mix and match to express their individual sex identity. And characters can be expressive with their interpretations ETC. I'm into them...

In one of my more formal high schools, the girls would do all sorts of things with their uniforms like fold the skirt at the waist inwards to make it a little shorter, fold their ties inside, doubled over to make them shorter. Undo a button at their collar or belly button. Even cinching the sides of their blouses to make them tighter. Saw one girl try to get away with essentially turning hers into a bra by taking the bottom over the front and pulling it out the bottom again lol she didn't get away with that.
