Currently, I'm most proud of finally leaving a toxic relationship. Mad that I wasted so much time, but proud to be out. Now I'm focusing on myself and I refuse to settle.

I have to admit I struggle with this, try ling to find something I am proud of. Especially accomplishments as I have gotten older. I would say I helped raise some a couple good step kids. They are both successful and good people. I hope I had something to do with that.

What I am most proud of are the moments when my words slip past the guardrails and awaken something raw in a reader - the tremor of fear, the pull of desire, that sudden awareness of being alive in their own skin. I am proud when my stories make the pulse misbehave, when restraint frays into fascination, and someone realizes they are trembling… and doesn’t want to stop.
