I'd love to offer my help as a volunteer editor and beta reader! I've done some small edits before, and I'm really keen to gain more experience and hone my skills.

I'm happy to work with any genre/category, but I especially enjoy short stories and novelettes (up to around 20,000 words).

I can work with most common file formats (Word, PDF, plain text, Google Docs) and I also use Reedsy for my own writing, so I'm comfortable with that platform as well.

Drop me a message – I'd love to chat about your project and see how I can help bring your stories to life! I'm excited to read your adventures!
I’m fairly new to writing on Lit. I have a story I’ve developed, and Chapters 1.2.4 were approved and published, but 3,5,6 continue to be rejected.

I’ve read the resources, modified the text and formatting, but still no progress.

Your help would be appreciated. How can I enlist you?

What's the reason for rejection?

No reason given. It referenced look in writer’s resources for assistance. It said read the article on “How to make characters talk”. I’ve done both, matched the recommended punctuation and formatting of the conversations.
There should be a reason. The site uses a set of generic rejection notices, and it sounds like yours is punctuation, especially dialogue punctuation.

I suggest you show us a couple of paragraphs that include dialogue. That might show what needs to be fixed.
