You gotta make it stand out. I know of tons of stories exactly like this. Make her a virgin, or get the bully to make her start talking shit about him too. I tend to agree with this comment. A lot of bully stories seem to be a version of this and I haven't found one that does it for me. I have a story I have been working on but just can't seem to get it to congeal. It involves newlyweds, a nerdy guy and a former cheerleader/bully. They get an apartment next to his former bully, a typical jock. The jock continues to bully the husband, light heartedly at first, as the husband just laughs it off as "that's just how he is." At first the wife is angry but as they get to know each other he brings out the old bully in her. They start spending more time together and eventually having an affair while mocking the husband, which of course gradually bleeds out to both bullying the husband.

Of course, this could be changed to the couple being boyfriend and girlfriend or even a mom and her son perhaps in their first year in college when they are of legal age.
