I don't really know what you are all on about.

Let me explain by some comparisons.

When I'm behind the wheel of my turbo charged sports car I love being pushed back into the seat under acceleration. I love overtaking other traffic as though they are standing still. That's a thrill. I have no interest in sticking my finger into the exhaust pipe and tasting the carbon build up.

When I'm riding a thermal in my glider along with the eagles I love how the air grabs hold of the wing and pulls me upward. And if I dive into a tight turn, not quite a spin, I love how the pressure in my ears tells me I'm alive. When I get out and there's some bird shit on the wing I have no interest in tasting it.
