We have missed you. Glad you had a good vaca....So, finally home after a 10.5 hour journey. A fabulous 2 weeks of which more later. It was marred only by an Internet connection that decided for moral reasons anything Lit related, or with similar content, was out of bounds. I hate this level of censorship but hey ho back now and will contribute as I can.
I hope all my friends are well... but please don't expect me to catch up.

It looks magical...and that tire looks BAD...So you know of my traumas on the way to our holiday. The background is that we use a Croft owned by friends in an isolated location on mainland Scotland. We live in Scotland but it is still a near 400 mile drive the last 100 are on poor single track roads. So driving that road with three wheels on the trailer was a concern in case another blew but we made it. The tyre was screwed and with the others showing signs of cracking it was time to change them all. Fortunately a local tyre fitter was able to order in and 48 hours later it was sorted.
The Croft at Armadale Bay is part of an old, 1800”s settlement of two room dwellings. Most of these are now derelict but our friends have modernised theirs into a cosy cottage with outstanding views down their land to sea. Add kennels for the boys and it a perfect setting for a couple of weeks
It is an isolated location and the peace and tranquility is palpable. You can’t help but melt into a semi-comatose state of relaxation.
Thanks I have missed you all tooWe have missed you. Glad you had a good vaca....
So sorry to hear of this and just glad you are safe and soundWell it was scary tree fell down in front of me stuck between 2 areas of rushing water. I called 911 to tell them and managed to.extracate myself when one of the waters receded enough for me to get out. I was singing hymns and I was so scared....never again
