That's why.

Me thinks the many (admitted) years of steroids killed his heart, finally.Trump is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, as is his Sec of Education (her only claim to fame).
Hogan appealed to Trump's base, in math class we used to call it 'the lowest common denominator'.
I thought that, too, after reading wrestler "Superstar Billy Graham" talking about the enormous amount of steroids Hogan injected DAILY. Graham said Hogan had a hardened lump of skin the size and shape of a tennis ball on his hip because Hogan insisted on using the same injection site every day.Me thinks the many (admitted) years of steroids killed his heart, finally.
I believe Hogan had both knees, both hips and one shoulder replaced. Along with many back issues. 40 + years in the ring plus all the steroids took their toll. Not worth the rumored $25 million he was worth.I thought that, too, after reading wrestler "Superstar Billy Graham" talking about the enormous amount of steroids Hogan injected DAILY. The news tonight though was detailing the sheer volume of Hogan's bone replacement surgeries over the past 20 years, it seems 30 years on the road wrestling put a helluva lot of mileage on his body.
https://www.cbssports.com/wwe/news/...ry-suffers-cardiac-arrest-at-home-in-florida/Hogan has become the centerpiece of scandals and controversies over recent years. He was caught using racial slurs on a sex tape that was made public -- 10 years ago to the day of his death -- leading Hogan to subsequently receive a $140 million judgment in 2016 against Gawker, which published portions
I think you're correct on the replacements. Hogan claims to have had "ten back surgeries" between 2013 and 2023, resulting in a huge dependence on opioids, which he quit cold turkey after finding religion in 2023.I believe Hogan had both knees, both hips and one s houlder replaced. In his 40 years, or so, of wrestling he made the medical profession wealthy. What he did to his own body and what Vince McMahan did to him was criminal. Yes, Terry Bollea became Hulk Hogan, but like many of the WWF/WWE participants he was lucky to "live" to be 71. Many didn't live past their late 40's, early 50's. It's a shame that such an 'entertaining' sport took so many athletes lives way too early.I think you're correct on the replacements. Hogan had major neck surgery in January, and evidently the surgeons nicked something in his trachea which hastened Hogan's downfall, major complications, breathing difficulties, etc.
Robstory: I actually stood behind Hogan in the Delta Airlines VIP check in line in Atlanta around 1995 or so. Honestly didn't recognize him at first (!!!!) because his back was to me and he had his hair tucked up under a weird looking beret.
From the waist up, Hogan was ungodly MASSIVE. That's what I noticed first . Chest. back, shoulder, arms...."larger than life". He was a legit six foot eight back then. (I'm very good at estimating height). He purportedly died at 6'5 1/2. Thats a shit-ton of spinal compression.
