I guess it really depends what ID Lit requires. I'm not super happy with face recognition despite the asurances data isn't stored permanently. But if they want shit like credit cards or passports or whatever, they can off the fuck

The UK doesn’t have jurisdiction in the US. And the US are not interested in applying our laws there as they’ve demonstrated on numerous occasions. So I think it’ll be a damp squib.

I made this point on the thread i started about this in the tech support forum. Someone replied essentially saying that it's mutually beneficial. You would think that the US woudln't care, but thsi stuff is coming to the US as well as the EU, if it's not there already. It's not like the US government isn't run by religious nutjobs!

We regularly extradite to the US. The US doesn’t. The extradition deal we signed is one sided. The bar for us is almost impossibly high.

I don't think it will come to extradition, but rather whether the US would allow the UK to impose a fine on Lit.
