If the Biden/Harris campaign sat on files they knew could severely damage Trump and his chances to win the election, most Democrats I know would consider that political malpractice. Frankly, I’m surprised you disagree.

I'm not sure if I agree. For one thing, the racists and misogynists out there were bound to vote Republican anyway. I think, besides the price of eggs, what won it for Trump was that people are very, very gullible. He spent the whole campaign spouting false claims and promises he couldn't keep (and probably never even intended to try to keep) - but they were easy to understand and they sounded good. Yes, white supremacy and xenophobia were (and regrettably still are) on the rise, and yes, there are a lot of folks out there who would never vote for a woman, but I don't think that alone is what sank Harris.
