A late 30s guy, who is generally in great shape, health-conscious, virile, and good-looking, is a smoker. He knows he needs to quit, has tried everything, but has not been successful. He decides that he will try hypnotism on the suggestion of a friend, a friend with benefits.

She helps him find the hypnotist, and he attends her sessions for several weeks. It is successful at getting him to quit smoking... but...

He seems to have urges that he did not before, sexual urges. His fwb seems delighted, and helps him explore these urges.

What else did the hypnotist implant in his brain? Was his friend involved? Where will this lead?

As I said, it is a germ of an idea, any suggestions would be apprecieated.

I definitely want him to discover more adventurous sexual experiences, and yes, the fwb is the architect of this scheme because of her wanting a different relationship with him.

I think he was a bit full of himself, a god's gift to women, etc. FWB wants him to be more humble... i.e., submissive, and wants to include him in her more kinky games. He was always in charge, controlling, and a selfish person. He was also somewhat of a prude in his way, rarely venturing far from the vanilla. His idea of kinky was when a woman would suck him after he fucked her. You get the idea...

His FWB liked his potential, but not his attitude. Now she can mold him her way...

Yeah, interesting... I had not thought of that.

I do have him being surprised about all the new and kinky things he now wants to do. Like being submissive, something that never crossed his mind before. The Hypnotist is definitely in cahoots with his FWB, so your idea could happen easily.

The hypnosis did not cure him at all from his addiction. The man is unaware that he's still pining for a smoke.

All the hypnotist did was changing the idea of wanting cigarettes to something else he wants in his mouth. Upper or lower lips are equally interchangeable, making his fwb very happy. "He always had at least three cigarettes a day. Now he gives head 3 times a day. If he hasn't had a good kiss for half a day his urges grow so much his passion for me is insatiable."

Alternatively we can put in command phrases.

Hypnotist's secretary overhears 'command phrases' and makes use of them
The hypnosis wakes/releases something buried in the smoker (might become scifi or erotic horror submission, even)

There's really no limit here, just depends on the mysticism and/or realism in the hypnosis. Neat hook!
