Conspiring to commit sedition or treason is not a presidential function. It is an abuse of power for personal or political ends, not an execution of Article II authority.

If a 6-foot (1.83 m) tall human could jump like a flea: 6 feet Ć 200 = 1,200 feet (366 meters) straight up! Converted to lateral movement, one could leap a distance farther than the Empire State Building (1,250 feet) is tall. It's 7,350 miles (11,827 kilometers) from Washington DC to Kenya or the same as 38,798,400 feet. We should recall all of the Democrats grounds for going after Trump and raiding his home, all of which came to pass before it was finally stopped. Trump had an ironclad defense against what he was charged with. Obama would be on pretty shaky grounds defending charges of sedition, election interference, or Conspiracy to Defraud The United States.
I think in the final analysis, he is toast, and if not, it will be somewhat comforting that those below him who carried out this seditious act will have no such protections.
