Is there any way to search for content? I only know how to search for posts by specific members, which is only helpful under very specific circumstances

I'm not sure about computers, because I'm on my phone, but there are two ways.

One is the magnifying glass 🔎 at the top right corner. The other is the drop down menu (three lines) next to LITEROTICA on the top left...about midway down you'll see SEARCH.

Either one can be a simple word search, or just titles. Or a more advanced search in a specific forum.

Thank you. But again, both of those search engine require the name of the poster. What I want is to be able to search for keywords by any member. I tried using * for a wildcard, but it didn't work.

You don't need to add a members name in the search area.
Just enter what your looking for, ie, masturbation, and then search.
Well thank you. I've tried this before— multiple times— and it didn't work. Today it does. I don't know if I'm doing something different, or something's changed. Or I'm just getting senile.

Does this work for threads too? I tried using the "Watch" button, but I have to manually search through the Forums to find that thread that I was wanting to see, thanks in advance

Yes, type in the thread title or keyword and check the box for "search thread titles only"

This is almost certainly because, at some time in the past, your Watched thread had a new post but you didn't click through the notifiation when you got it.

When a notification on a watched thread does not get acted on, the site does not notify you again until you have caught up with the thread.

The way to work around this and get all your Watched Thread notifications back is to go into the forum where the thread you watched is, and, use the "Mark Read" button to mark all the threads in that forum as read.

Once you "mark read" all the threads in that forum, then the site knows you have read the thread you watched, and, next time there's a post, you'll get notified.

Thanks, it would have been better if this site had a "favorites" function, would have made things easier. Thanks for taking the time to respond, much appreciated.

Adding threads to your watched list is the "favorite" section.

You can find all of them in one spot in two ways.

1) in that menu I pointed out earlier, there is "watched threads" and "watched forums". Going to "Watched threads" will bring them up in a page format and whichever thread was last posted in will be at the top.

2) under the lightening bolt at the top right of the page. Go under "new posts" and "filter" what your choices are. I've checked "watched threads" so all of mine can be found there, as well as in #1 that I've just told you of.
