How the Epstein mess ends

He spoke a shitload about other stuff such as global peace and the economy.

Turns out he had less expertise in 'global peace' than any of his teenage beauty contestants that he was inspecting in the changing rooms.
Yes, he spoke a shitload about the economy, immigration reform, tax cuts, curbing DEI and wokeness and other issues. Other than that response to one question in one interview during the campaign, I don’t recall him speaking at all about Epstein. It wasn’t a top of mind issue among Trump supporters during the campaign and the two polls presented by CNN suggest that still might be the case

Apparently the MAGAites had no doubt that OJ was going to release the Trumpstein docs, so it wasn’t an issue They have invested a lot in this and obviously arent happy being told there is no “there” there

  • MAGA influencers including Kash and Bongino and Donnie Jr spent years building up the Trumpstein Files conspiracy.
  • Trump promised to release the files.
  • Once in office, Trump said, “Yeah, no.”
  • MAGA conspiracy world erupts in rage.
  • Trump tells “weaklings” to drop it.
  • BabyBoom obediently drops it.
😆 Sheep are hilarious.

They were promised he’d empty the swamp not be part of it.

The first bullet is true. The second is pretty weak. “I think so” in response to a question. Bullet 3 is true, although the polls presented by CNN suggest that “MAGA conspiracy world” doesn’t represent the sentiments of most Republican voters. Bullet 4 is true. Bullet 5 is silly. I’ve never cared or called for the release of any Epstein files.

The CNN clip I shared has gotten the Politics Board Miserables riled up. Oh well. 🤗

The embarrassed sheep is pretending that the people making fun of him are “riled up”. 😆

Weaklings want Epstein files released.

dear leader has declared.

It is the best description of Epstein file queries in the history of the galaxy and no one could explain the abhorrent requirements from weaklings than this administration.

You’re either being intentionally dishonest or ignorant about what Trump was recorded saying and can be verified. Here’s what Trump actually said,
Would you declassify the Epstein files?" Fox News' Rachel Campos-Duffy asked. Trump responded, "Yeah, yeah, I would."

That clip was circulated widely online, including by the Trump War Room -- the social media account of Trump's campaign operation. The account posted it to X with the caption: "President Trump says he will DECLASSIFY the 9/11 Files, JFK Files, and Epstein Files."

This was not the only comment Trump made about Epstein on the campaign trail.

Go back and look at #48 in this thread for full context. I offered a possible explanation for the polling numbers presented by CNN that actually show a slight bump for Trump among Republicans. I make the point that Trump did not campaign on a promise to release Epstein files and mentioned the Fox News interview during the campaign in June of 2024.

Here’s the full clip of that Fox News interview followed by commentary from a political pundit on MSNBC. Hardly a full-throated campaign promise. Even MSNBC says “Trump hedges…”

The ABC article you shared cites another interview Trump did in a podcast with someone named Lex Fridman during the campaign in September that I hadn’t seen where he said he’d take a look at releasing files. Again, not exactly a bold promise.

Fridman, in conversation with Trump, said "it's just very strange for a lot of people that the list of clients that went to the island has not been made public."

"It's very interesting, isn't it? It probably will be, by the way, probably," Trump said.

"If you're able to, you'll be --" Fridman started before Trump jumped in.

"Yeah, I'd certainly take a look at it. Now, Kennedy's interesting because it's so many years ago," Trump said. "They do that for danger too, because it endangers certain people, et cetera, et cetera, so Kennedy is very different from the Epstein thing but I'd be inclined to do the Epstein. I'd have no problem with it."

Trump made a lot of bold promises during the campaign that were repeated over and over and over at rallies, his campaign platform website, debates, and other forums. We all heard him hammer about mass deportations, peace deals, tariffs, tax cuts, oil and gas production, ending DEI and wokeness, and lower prices. Releasing Epstein files was clearly not something we heard much about.

That might explain why the polls so far are not indicating any political damage to the president among Republicans. Maybe the polling will change if the story lingers or if some bombshell news breaks. But right now, the base is holding together.

Whether he campaigned on it or not, he.literally hired the two most prominent figures advocating for the release with Bongino and Patel.

Saying that is something he wasn't advocating for is ridiculous.

Bondi comes out and says there WAS a list but that she had it destroyed, for the good of the country or some other nonsense. She resigns or Trump pretends to fire her. The MAGAites go back to speculating who is on the list. Everyone is happy

Also, Trump contacts Giselle Maxwell and makes her an offer she can’t refuse: 3 years in a minimum security prison, then a pardon. Just has to keep her mouth shut
ends with a whimper and not a bang - per the Whitehouse - should it end with the bang of cell doors on the Whitehouse reinvention? Méli

So besides the campaign pledge made in writing to release the files, you’re saying he didn’t make any promises, is that the scope of it?

And Vance openly campaigned that the files should be released.

CNN reports on how the Epstein story is impacting Trump’s support among his base. Devastating. Lol

MAGA sheep are proving they are loyal sheep. Nobody is surprised.

As Donnie said, he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and he wouldn’t lose any voters.

Anyway, Donnie is very upset by the ongoing Trumpstein Files discussion, which is highly amusing for all of us who aren’t sheep. 😄

Yeah, those MAGA sheep at CNN are so predictable.

You’re twisting yourself in knots, sheep. CNN reported the story. It’s the mindless sheep like you who are staying loyal to Trump regardless of him blocking the release of the Trumpstein Files.

Any questions.

Members of the Trump Cult have forgiven their Leader for everything. Christian conservatives think Trump was sent by God. if it can be proved that Trump was one of Epstein's clients Cult members will think, "I'm glad the old boy can still get it up."
