There’s some truth to that. Some of it is just comfort. She’s been in the same house for 53 yrs, so isn’t exactly raring to give it up. She’s not going anywhere and i’m not going to press her on it. We’re all within a couple of miles of each other anyway, so that helps.

Made it up company HQ…now hunker down for the classes and management types telling us how great we’re doing but we can do more. Fun, fun, fun. The best part is they feed us. That’s about all I’m going to say about that.

Slept eight hours…feel like I coulda slept one more.

Yeah… it’s all about the money.

I still remember in the early 70s we had a local doctor right now who would occasionally make house calls.
 
Mother fuckers. On a meeting for a new product and they are flying through it... I was like hold on ... you need to slow down and my peer said maybe you should share your screen and they can walk you through it ... I said no...all you need to do is slow down and continue sharing your screen. The guy teaching has a very thick accent with a fast talking style and he self admittedly has a faulty microphone
 
Good morning everyone. Quick break between meetings.

Thunderstorms that lasted for the better than 24 hours was getting old. At least the sun is out now, but that extra long grass is still super wet and still needs mowing. The sweet corn was in standing water for a half a day. The plants in the garden have hardly seen sun all summer, weird summer so far.

Glad to see some faces returning. You'll stick around this time won't you? :LOL:

More caffeine, and back to the grind...
