She sounds like my mom, a bit stubborn. I hope as I get older I will be more flexible and go along with my kids. I have been independent and it can be lonely. Being around family is very important as we age.

Good morning diners. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon tea for those in the UK.

It’s still humid and cooling and drying out later. But the up and down temperatures and humidity continue into next week. Nothing special planned. Need to buy coffee before my GF comes over for brunch.

North of me there were big rain storms and street flooding. It’s not wide spread. The message over TV is “If you see water on the street, turn around don’t drown”. I guess that will work except for the bravely foolish.
 
Oh my. I must head out to a Dr. appointment this morning. Just a regular check up. I have trouble relating to her because she is younger than my grandaughter. She is a PA and I have not seen the Dr. who started the practice in a couple of years. The practice has also been taken over by WellMed. I grew up when the doctors would make house calls and carry a big bag of meds with them.
