Ah, selective reading 🥰

Yep - that's the dealio. Lasik would have been nice - I'd still need glasses but with less correction they would be lighter and I'd have more options for frames 🤷‍♀️ Still, lot to be said for 20/20 correctability

Yes, he does

Family member was on dinner duty. They were so excited... cooking was not a skill or pastime of theirs, so they worked at this recipe.
Everyone was at the table, blessing said, and they raised their hamburger up to take that first bite...
everyone at the table froze... they all saw it, but didn't know how to tell the cook... there was a spider on their patty.
*CHOMP*
Bye-bye, spider
Family member went to their grave without ever knowing

correct on your 2nd try :ROFLMAO:

Glad you were able to turn it around!!

And 😱 to eating a spider!

@Greylag

So my friend went to Scotland and cycled the outer hebrides ...she told me some of the towns she visited...the only one that sticks out is oben.... they took trains planes buses bicycles etc on their journey..... she did try haggis and liked it... she also said that she loved having a lemon posset. ( probably spelled wrong) and that the sausage was weird at breakfast...

Oh and she had lots of pictures of puffins and the highland "coos"
That sounds like a fantastic trip!

I just bit the bullet.... I HATE spending money.... I am afraid to run out... (probably a trauma from childhood). It has to be done
I totally understand that. I was talking with a friend about what I call my "poverty mentality." We didn't have a lot of money growing up, but also never really knew that. Now, I'm hesitant to spend money, especially large sums. My friend reminded me I probably won't have to live with my kids in my old(er) age. 😅

Fighting a migraine today which is likely from the storm. Barometric changes coupled with big swings in temperature tends to mess with my head. 😣 We're down more than 30 degrees from yesterday.

I'm going to sign out for a few hours in hopes I can make my 1pm meeting. I really want to get that resolved.

Enjoy the day everyone.
I hope you got to be feeling better so you can sleep! 🫂🫂

Back porch should start thursday.... weather permitting
I showed him bathroom drywall problem. He then proceeded to tell me that my house is moving the framing is bad and only way to fix it is to tear it down and redo it.... that the wall is bowing... I dont see it but ok

Cosmetic repair it is. He is gonna fix a couple doors so they at least close...

AND ....

My a/c is running all the time set on 75 and current temp Is 79....he can come on sunday...

All the curtains closed and the fans are on... great ... he is a good guy... I won't go to anyone else for hvac
Tear down the ENTIRE house?!? 😱😱

This is a traditional Lorne sausage or 'Scottish' sausage.
