Why would I have a problem with this?
Oh I get it; I see it now.
The horizon is tilted. This has always bothered me about photography; taking a shot of the ocean, the camera should be straight so the horizon is level. Tip: Use a tripod.

You're the one who doesn't get it. I'm talking about the real left, not the silly caricature of us that you live by.You don't like bigots? Your side must own stock in self-loathing then.
No one who defends actual women from mentally ill men and predators is a bigot, they're decent people. Not surprised you wouldn't recognize that fact.
I don't hate her, at least I have no idea what she's like as a person; she could be super nice, or kind of a jerk. I just like her written works. She's a fine author of young adult fiction. But didn't have it to start with. They don't hate her for being rich, they hate her for having talent and earning it.
They only like people who made good on DEI and welfare.
I disagree; she has expressed some downright scummy views about transpeople. But really, that's beside the point. The people on the left who hate her do not hate her "for having talent and earning" her riches - heck, I love that someone who has brought so much joy to so many people was well-paid for it. And I think Lovecraft probably knows that. It's his side of the aisle that always kowtows to filthy rich people who did not earn those riches, most notably one Donald J. Trump. For Example: Ted Nugent is an awesome guitar player, and I love that he has great talent and has earned his success. He's a much better musician than, for example, any generic boy-band or auto-tuned zombie rap/R&B flavor of the minute, who in most cases have NOT earned their success and have marginal (at best) talent. I dislike Ted Nugent as a person though, because he's a loudmouth insensitive bigot. See the difference? Separate the art from the artist. I actually have no idea what JK Rowling's personal views are. I've heard she may have said some insensitive things once or twice, but again, there's a difference between a single off the cuff remark, and regularly getting on a soap box and preaching some questionable (or downright scummy) views. I have never heard of Rowling doing this. I HAVE heard of Ted Nugent doing this.
You obviously know nothing about Rowling's political opinions. She has been a member of the UK Labour (Socialist) party for the whole of her adult life, and within the party she aligns with the moderate left group. In addition she has been the largest single donor to the party in each of the last four elections. However, I also suspect that Rowling would defend the right of every half witted uninformed moron to bore us all witless with their complete ignorance.I pity the woman, and people like her, for their lack of kindness, lack of humanity and lack of basic tolerance.
Stupid human beings have a general lack of perspective.
We know about the opinion that has come to define her, and she has absolutely been directly complicit in making that happen. You obviously know nothing about Rowling's political opinions.
It wasn't at all long ago that solid majorities of all people considered homosexuality a disease at best and a perversion at worst. That they were a majority did not make them any less wrong. The same goes here.Incidentally one of the major news groups (can't remember which) reported that 90% of the voting public, from both Labour and Conservative parties, agreed with her on sex/gender issues,
