And some of the dumbest and poorest people I knew had a Masters or PhD. One guy with a Masters Degree in Engineering was so smart, everywhere he worked co-workers and managers wouldn't listen to him and he'd be fired! He eventually drank himself to death because he was so well educated and smart!

I know one guy who spent $200K to get his JD Law degree, and he's now teaching junior high math (while still paying off his law degree loans!) Now THAT's smart!

Another went to college for seven years without getting a degree and enlisted in the Army. After five years in the Army, he got out. Now he's making $200K per year!

I made hiring decisions (before retiring comfortably), and I would NEVER hire anyone with a PhD to do an entry-level job! That would be as retarded as the person with a PhD applying for that entry-level job!

I look to hire people who want to WORK and do the job I am hiring them to do! I want someone who needs THAT job and is likely to remain in that job. I wouldn't waste the time hiring and on-boarding someone who thinks they are better than that job, because I know they'd be looking to quit ASAP!

If you have two Masters Degrees and a PhD and you're having trouble finding a job, you fell for the "Nigerian Prince Scam" ... three times! You gave away money and time investing in something which had no quantifiable, objective value, doing so solely based on a promise of riches in the future. Showing me three degrees when applying for an entry-level job is PROOF that you are unqualified (and stupid).

If you have several college degrees and are still looking for an entry level job which doesn't require those degrees, then it's time to consider drinking yourself to death.

EDIT: And BTW, our society doesn't "thumb their nose" at people who didn't go to college. Only elitist liberal snobs like YOU thumb your nose at those who don't have a college degree!

College in far too many cases are run by leftist America haters. Instructors spend as much or more time indoctrinating students as they do actually teaching them. Add to that the absolutely useless degrees earned with no job potential. Colleges should be ashamed for how they have screwed over at least 2 generations. But let's be honest, colleges are nothing more than money sucking corporations and the more suckers they lure in the more money they can pay in salaries and on sports complexes.
