Just my luck. I honk at a Karen for stopping in the middle of a merge. We end up going to the same store and tells me I was rude because I honked and I could have just hit my breaks. Listen Karen the only reason we didn’t have an accident was because I had to slam on my breaks. Learn how to drive
My thoughts lean toward learning a little more patience when driving and maybe a bit of respect towards women. Calling women “Karens” is degrading and disrespectful.
 
Absolutely, that does sound like a hell of a week. You have both my admiration and very best wishes for it; just look after yourselves as best you can :) And in this case I think that actively includes one or two drinks, if they’re good for the soul, rather than excluding them!
 
I’m thinking that I managed to forget which thread I’m posting in twice …and by a quirk of fate directly after the same person. But maybe …I do it all the time and just don’t realise it. 🤔

I don’t think you’re the only one. I’ll frequently see posts, thinking WTF? Early onset CRS
 
I always think about the long recovery they have, after the headlines and the world's gaze turns to somewhere else.

How short our attention spans can be. But also, it's a big world with tragedy going on every day. How can we keep focused on it all?
So true! Ashe Co, North Carolina (north of Asheville) is still in recovery, and recent rains have flooding going on there, too.

I think when it's close to us - distance or because your family is from that area - you pay more attention than things in other parts of the world.

Yea, I was in that area last year for the eclipse. Some really nice people there.
