Hello, I would like some help writing erotica stories.

Hello, I am an amateur who is trying to create a erotica novel. My idea is to take sexy role play chats and make them into stories. I have tried using ai chat apps to create a sexy role play chat but its not the same as with a real person. I am seeking a female co writer who would be interested in helping me create a erotica novel. If interested let me know. I think we could email each other or use a google docs to go back and forth with some sexy roleplay ideas and chats. If I am able to publish the novel and make money I would be happy to give a percentage of the profits or a agreed upon amount. Also I would like a woman's opinion on what women find interesting and attractive regarding adult erotic xxx art.

Hey RedBeard! I like the idea of a novel. However, a novel is a big ask for an amateur. I think it would be better to focus on stories that can be sequential, which can potentially form a novel. I think few amateur writers can muster a novel.

The ask is also a big vague. Sexy role play into stories? It seems to be more a way to create stories than an actual story idea. What are you aiming for? What do you want to achieve?

It is okay to not know all these things. However, it is a good thing to start thinking about it. That us why it is good to ask yourself these questions.

- Any good story needs a good theme. What do you want it to be?
- How can you get a coherent story?
- What is the main story thread?
- What is the setting?

@Husky_Embrace is correct. A novel is a big step for a new writer. Then there's getting it published by a company that sells books, that will pay you. If that part was easy, there would be no stories on Lit for you to enjoy.
Secondly, sexy chat is not a story. It's a dialog, which is part of a story. To take a transcript of your chat and turn it into a story would be more work than just writing a story, and once you do, the fact that it was once a chat is lost.

Just write some stories. If you have a favorite chat that inspires you, by all means use it. Write a story based on it.

Thank you for the advice and response. My idea is to take several short stories that are related and weave them together into a long ongoing story. My long term goal is to create a very long erotica audiobook. I drive about 8 hours everyday for my job and love listening to audiobooks of all categories not just romance and erotica. Soo many stories I've read or listened to would be better with some spicy kinky sex thrown in when appropriate. I have tons of ideas for erotica stories/ role-play chats. Here is one example. Setting would be a fantasy world with magic and monsters. A boy gets reincarnated as a young man into this world. The role-play would start with a young woman being captured and sold into slavery. The young man finds himself wondering a city and stumbles across a slave market. He witnessed the woman being beaten and decides to rescue her. He ends up killing some of the slavers and runs away with the woman. They develop and relationship and discover after having sex that when they fuck their magical powers increase. This type of story can go on and on forever. That's just one idea. What do you think?

See now youve shifted gears. That's not a role play chat, that is a plot for a story. As a plot that's not bad, but you're overthinking it. Why worry about the reincarnation. Maybe he's just a farmers son, but dad was an ex soldier and taught his boy to defend himself.

He makes off with the slave girl, but she's not just a slave, but a former noblewoman who was accused of cheating her husband and thrown into bondage.

Magic sex based powers!? That's gonna take a lot to explain. But, maybe they find a pair of rings (yeah, I know its been done) on a couple of ancient skelotons, matched wedding rings, and they infer some magical powers, but they get stronger as their relationship strengthens.

As for the audiobook thing. Most of the audio artists on this site are swimming with requests from writers to do audio versions of their stuff. Good luck with that.

Also if you're good enough to get published outside Lit, for $, publishers can arrange for audiobooks to get made from your stuff, but it's not cheap.

My advice is to write your stories here on Lit and find out what you CAN do, vice what you WANT to do and go from there.
