That's what it's going to boil down to. Russia is a constant threat to all it's neighbors, and it has never decolonized east of the Urals, and we all know what happened to Chechenya, Ingushtua and Dagestan when they tried to free themselves from the yoke of genocidal Russian oppression.

And there's no excuse for not knowing and understanding what Russia does. Just look at what they did to Circassia - Russia ix the last of the European colonial powers, as a totalitarian state, it has found it impossible to let their colonies go their own way.
