New home page, new lady!

I noticed they don't have the links to the favorites portal, wonder where the link will be for that within the site.

I LOVE IT!

At a quick scan it seems much more adaptive and mobile friendly, has decent accessibility overall, and looks a lot cleaner and fresher without being a total departure from the classic look!

BUT a bunch of that blue text is not as accessible as it could be, the color contrast is not great and could negatively impact some users with low vision or color perception impairments. I think technically most of it passes WCAG AA (a base level web accessibility standard) if the user bumps up the text size a bunch, but if you adjusted the color to be just a liiittle darker it would be AAA accessible, @Manu !

@Manu I just mentioned this in the Nude Day Contest support thread, but I'm repeating it here in case you're following this thread and not the other: the Nude Day Contest isn't included in the News section on the new homepage.

I'll sort of miss the previous pixelated dancing girl. As I mentioned a while ago, she was a creation of Mike Saenz, a pioneering artist who adopted the Mac when it was brand new. He was also a developer of early erotic games for the Mac.

One of the earliest games I had for PC was Strip Poker with Suzy and Melissa. I suspect that many men of my age can still get hot and bothered about pixelated boobs.

Lit seems to have an aversion to having visited links work like every other website in existence. I had to setup a custom CSS extension on my PC to get visited links to show properly, and even that doesn't work 100%.

Also what is the 'optional and free' membership?

Are "others" paying for better lit membership?

I see they removed the link to the browser malware test that's been there for 20 years, give or take.

I'm pretty sure it just means that anyone can read any story on Lit without an account, but that by creating a free account you get to do things like post on the forums, make reading lists, and start publishing. Just like it's always been!
