I think you are correct. I expect that the cultural divide (even if only minor these days) induces us to make our interest or lack thereof more clear than we might with white men. That said any man who knows he is packing will likely have some increased level of confidence. And to the extent that there is a cultural divide it may mean that a black man is less concerned with rejection by a white woman than a white man is.

But culturally and because we are more concerned about racism than in past eras I'd say white women who feel no need to be sensitive to a white man's feelings when being hit on, will feel more compelled to be receptive to or at least not dismissive of black man for fear of appearing bigoted.

I wonder how a black man with a small penis feels. I recall an Asian comedian doing a bit about this saying he felt sorry for them because with the Asian guys there is no expectation but there is with the black guys. I suppose any guy who knows he is less than impressive in bed (overall, not just size) probably stars clear of situations where he will feel embarrassed.

I am just going by the comment of a black man I know. He said he was always leery of young white girls as you could never be sure of there motives. If a mature white woman agreed to go out with him, they were always willing to have sex and many were pretty aggressive about it.

Even independent of racial considerations I think that young women are more likely to be seeking male attention as part of a social dynamic without really knowing what they want. Meanwhile they are more inclined to second guess themselves along the way and not always fully aware of the impact of their actions. So, there is an increased possibility of confusing messages or more self serving actions.

Meanwhile a sexually active older women is more likely to be secure or at least settled in who she is and generally less likely to seek attention for its own sake and more likely to be clear in her own mind about what she wants and likely to have learned to be clear with others.

Layer in the racial aspect and both of those tendencies are amplified.

For young women being seen to be accepting of racial minorities is worth social points in our current culture and so may be an ulterior motive on its own. At a minimum they will be more likely to want to come across as accepting which may add to the lack of clarity if she is not interested in a guy.

Meanwhile the sexually active older woman, especially if is experiencing any kind of sexual awakening or second act, is more likely to have a focus on her own sexual fulfillment independent of social dynamics. And she is highly likely to have an appetite to venture beyond her past experience, which means it is highly likely that a black man is on her bucket list.

I think that is spot on. Also my friend does not see it as a big racial thing as much as it is about the hype that black men tend to be hung and confident. He thinks you see the same thing with white football and basketball players which share the same hype about being hung and confident. I see his point but I still would suspect some racial bias here. Of course his thought was to not mess that up as black men deserve a little advantage in something.
