I’m so late to this convo but… @Girly_girl I’m so sorry this happened to you.

I have a few thoughts on ghosting, the slow fade or “I don’t remember ever talking to you.”
As said before I think it’s cowardly and rude and more of a reflection of them. It’s easier to just run than have a conversation. And when confronted the excuses are juvenile and selfish and most times pathetic. It cheapens what was and for over thinkers it can destroy their self confidence. People in general tend to be self centered and selfish,

The worst is “you deserve better” and “I’m not good enough”. It takes the responsibility off the person and puts it on the victim. If you say you love someone and then pull this crap…you never really loved them.

Anyway my two cents. Off my soapbox now.
