MAGATs imagined that Iran will not retaliate against this crime. That view was a sad delusion.
Just because the man-baby is feeling bullied because some bankers called him 'TACO', thus forcing him to do something more than bluster. It's not that he's strong enough to give the order; he's not strong enough to refrain from giving the order.

Iran has been openly waging proxy wars against Israel since 1980.
In the current situation Hamas attacked Israel in October 2023. The Iranian-backed Hezbollah joined the attack the next day.
In November 2023 the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen attacked Israel with drones and missiles of Iranian origin.
In April 2024 the Iranian consulate in Damascus was attacked by parties unknown and Iran chose to blame Israel. Others blame the current Syrian regime for that attack. Some blame ISIS.
In retaliation for the Damascus attack the Iranians fired 300+ drones and missiles at Israel.
etc. etc. etc. and here we are.
In any case the Israeli attacks against Iran did not occur in a vacuum. Iran has been asking for it for a long time now.
