Can the U.S. stay out of this Israel-Iran war?

Iran now wants to talk. A little late. The G7 issued a letter calling for a de-escalation and return to the negotiating table. Trump didn’t sign it. Good for him.
You're placing too much value on regime change. Better this war should end tomorrow.

If regime change happens and a civilized government is established, that would be great. Israel and/or the Iranian people can deal with that. Regardless, the Iranian nuclear program must be destroyed.
Isn't it already destroyed?

I'm currently in Tehran, while both Israel and USA have asked people to leave. Where can I go? Tehran has 10 million population, and rest of the country is not safe either. I keep hearing anti-aircraft gun fire, and sounds of explosion, specially at nights. There is not enough fuel or bread, and most businesses are closed.

Seems like water would be an issue. Isn’t Tehran already experiencing issues with water supply?
How long until the population will have the confidence to build a free government and shed Islamic rule? 5 or 6 years ago it looked like it was going to happen but more oppression and the idea was quashed.
I also have questions about who is still firing ballistic missiles at Israel. They can’t be living in normal society. At least I hope not. If they are you are in danger.

Not much they can do with that, with everything else destroyed.
Enriched uranium and the centrifuges needed to produce it are the hardest, longest, and costliest components. Everything else can be restored or replaced relatively quickly. Taking out Fordow changes the situation decisively.

The public. The people of Iran must take charge. Physically eliminating any enrichment is essential. But those intent on the destruction of prosperity in the Middle East must also be subdued. Hamas hezbola Gaza houthis the disrupters in Iraq any of the proxies must also be eliminated. I do not think it is up to Trump. However while I see Saudi Arabia purchasing arms I strongly feel they do not want to use them. It was the Arabs that imposed Islamic law on Persia that created this monster in the first place. Persia was prosperous and free.
Eliminating all the missiles and the ability to fire them is essential as well. If they were defensive they would not be threatening their neighbors. Now they have demonstrated they are capable of random violence calling it defense. The Iranian people need to rise up from within and stop this as much as Israel is dutifully doing the world this favor.

What could be more normal than firing missiles at a country that is attacking yours?

A leading indicator our defense is hard at work studying all possible scenarios. Like it or not we are involved. Our Navy has been enabling commerce through the Suez Canal as long as I can remember.
The Iranians need that commerce as much as anyone. They ship oil through that canal.
