Trump insults Walz after 2 Democrats assassinated.

You must have grown up in the pine woods area. No wonder you seem so figgity.

Myself, I grew up in corn country. We used corn cobs: two red and one white.

Red is for first wipes, and white is for checking for cleanliness. :giggle: (y)
You and Politruk really had it rough,at least we could afford a newspaper to tear into squares.

Rich folks could buy newspapers, and some even had toilet paper. Most country ladies got to use the Sears and Roebuck catalog pages. It seems their husbands didn't want the delicate things chaffed.

Once or twice, being so ill and near death, I was carted into the city to see a doctor. He had an indoor toilet that didn't smell at all. Of all things, there was a handle, and water took the pee down a hole when you pushed it! Guess it went out to the Great Lakes somehow. On the farm, it just went into the ground beneath the outhouse. Summers were the worst time. The smell and the flies were terrible. You took a deep breath and tried to hold it for as long as possible. Those were the days! [Side note: Farm guys didn't go to the outhouse to pee.]

A tornado took our outhouse one summer and dropped it on the neighbor's house a mile away. :)

Walz is the guy that put tampons in boy's toilets? Something wrong with that guy. :)
Have you ever asked your boyfriend or husband to run out and get you a pad or tampon...having them available isn't the worst thing in the world...yet you Republicans always think the worst...you take that .000001% of over the top liberals and stereotype the rest

Guess women's bathrooms shouldn't have a condom machine either..that would be too manly?

The facts are that anyone with a uterus has to deal with this, unless past menopause.

And?

I shop and when I'm shopping if I have to buy things for feminine hygiene, then they go in the cart. I don't care, the checkout clerk doesn't care, the people in line don't care. Nor does the bank that cashes the check or the CC processing company which runs the transaction. I'm also positive the Fed doesn't care what I spend my cash on, if they can even trace it.

You know who seems to care? Dipshits like you who don't need/use the products.

And that's a good enough reason to provide tampons free to teenagers. Which is all Walz did.

That's just spin because providing "free tampons" to teens who need it could have been accomplished in other ways. For instance, by having the school nurse give them out when necessary IN PRIVATE.

Instead, what Tampon Tim did was FORCE everyone to deal with trans kids and their PERSONAL problems. In the public's eye as well as school bathrooms.

If Saint Ann really is a woman (possible, but I wouldn't take it to the bank), I sincerely doubt the kind of guys she dates would be willing to buy tampons for her.

Did they expect this malignant narcissist criminal to have any words of sympathy? I mean I don't get it, the man is predictable, that's one thing about him. He never apologizes and he never expresses remorse. Don't expect any normal human response from him and his thug MAGAts. They are damaged human beings. Another reason he is not fit to serve this country.

No, he wasn't. Toxic masculinity doesn't sell on the left.

He did sign a bill that made Minnesota one of a majority of states (28, amusingly enough) that provides tax-paid pads and tampons to any students who need them. And yes, that includes trans boys. Hey, when I was in the public schools, we weren't expected to bring our own toilet paper to school.
I haven’t seen any tampon machines in MN in school bathrooms since the 1980s. They took away the fainting/periid couches too. :(

Considering this happened in my state, I am just appalled at Trump, but he is no better than the next. He has no sense of rhetoric or empathy whatsoever.
Unfortunately, what happened here is either the beginning or continuation of what is to come. People will lash out against politicians.
I am just glad they caught the bastard.

So what?! There's no downside to that! None at all!

What is your issue with trans people and kids? What bearing does that have on your life? The problem with MAGAts is that they are so damn nosy.

Not only that, we even know exactly where he got that strategy from: Roy Cohn. Cohn literally told him - among other things - to never apologize for anything.

If it doesn't bother you in the least, why did you put all the effort into posting something about a Minnesota law if you were not concerned about it?

That law, by the way, never said feminine hygiene products were being placed in boys' bathrooms. That was MAGA ridicule and false information.

The Minnesota law does not explicitly require schools to stock menstrual products in boys' restrooms. School districts have the flexibility to determine how best to provide access to all students who need them. In practice, this means the products are typically available in girls' restrooms and gender-neutral or all-gender restrooms, and sometimes from school health staff.

FYI, it is not unique to Minnesota: Minnesota is one of 28 states and Washington, D.C. that have passed legislation to ensure free access to period products for students in schools.

Hope this helps. [I know it won't keep you on the straight and narrow since knowledge is not your strong point. But I tried to let you know.]

That mindset has deeply poisoned the Republican Party. Before this felon, their politicians could be prick ish at times, but at least there was some semblance of humanity left. So now that has pushed even non-Republicans to become more rebellious and resistant in response.

I have no issue with trans people, other than their ongoing and untreated mental illness issue.

What I DO have a problem with; is people FORCING their lifestyle on others.

I don't wear my faith on my sleeve. I don't force other people to adhere to my faith. I don't require others to recognize my faith.

Likewise, I don't wear my sexuality on my sleeve or force others to adhere to it or recognize it.

Why?

Because those things are PERSONAL and have no place in polite society.
