Most of my cats expire in the 12-13 range, and he's 18 and change.

Doing a 24 hour dry fast today, anyone ever do it? Much easier than drinking water.

Only for medical procedures. None were supposed to be 24 hours but a few were
Mostly the fasts I choose to do willingly allow clear liquids - and I allow bone broth and apple juice as needed to keep blood sugars in balance.

A bit of humor for the day as saw this on FB.

Part of a cleanse? The quick answer is i do intermittent fasts of both types.

Get a head start on taking off 10 lb before vacation. Its part of a 40 hour fast kicked into overdrive. I find it easier without water.

Supposedly a 24 hour dry fast is the same as a 72 hour water fast. Fat produces water to keep your body hydrated. Faster autophagy and cell cleanup.

It sucked. It was tough. They don’t tell you how you did - they just say we’ll get I touch with you. No grade. No directional indication…

I’m pretty sure you won’t see me on jeapardy any time soon.
