Unless it’s a hateful holiday, I think everyone has a right to celebrate as they please. I don’t think it’s fair to blame someone for reacting to something they care about being called “fake ass” as that’s an intentionally inflammatory and provoking phrase.

It is as fake as Valentine's Day, where men are browbeat to purchase jewelry and other over-priced items. If you love someone, you don't need a day to remind you.

Same goes for Father's Day. And Mother's Day. You have only one mother and one father, unless you're lucky to have good relationships with steps. TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM EVERY DAY!!!

Correct and Father’s Day is celebrated all over world on different days and has been since Middle Ages. Doubt Hallmark existed back then.

No, I just do NOT like this bullshit "holiday". It's commercialized like Mother's Day, but not as bad as Valentine's Day. Seriously, all my dad did on Father's Day was relax, cook a cheap ass steak while drinking a beer out of a little brown bottle, and tried to embarrass us by wearing socks with sandals!!!!

I said I do NOT like people who lose their shit when I tell them I don't celebrate the "holiday"!!!
