I just freeze fresh cut by my hands watermelon and it taste like an icy.

If you want to do them yourself, get sweet ones and several pitters so everyone can help. Canning and freezing fresh cherries I picked myself (okay, I directed from the ground while my minions climbed) was a lot of work but so worth it!

We pit ours every summer - all you need are some clean glass bottles and straws.

It is a messy, but rewarding job!!

(Place the cherry on the top of the bottle and press the straw through the cherry pushing the stone through the cherry and down the bottle with the straw)
