82-YO Owner Washed This Pontiac GTO Every Week, Decides To Sell After Years in Storage

1967 wasn't the best year for Pontiac, as sales went down for the first time in 8 years, but the GTO continued to sell well. Americans loved the Goat, and the 1967 release, despite presenting only minor improvements from the previous year from a styling perspective, accounted for over 81,700 cars of all units shipped this year.

Hmmm . . . . Slept kinda half-assed. Yesterday was All Kindsa Goofy at work, with plenty of St000pid thrown in for "good" measure. Fired the weaseliest of the weasel herd. We took a vote and decided that we were over their shenanigans. Then their herder decided to attempt to backdoor Wat on their disposal. He's re-fired like some refried beans.

Time for cuppa number two.

HDH-2 / SWMBO - 1….😭😭😭.

She got me. it was horrible! Hot, Humid, dirty…not the fun kind either. It had to be done. Been putting it off for months. I’ll get a reprieve today as it’s her birthday, but I’ve been informed on top of all the prep I’m doing getting her little party set up, I’m on the hook for head rubs at her request all day. Price you have to pay to not finish the Garage! 😁. I count that as…HDH-3 / SWMBO -1. 🤣

We did get to take a late night drive in her little convertible down to the beach to watch the moonrise. There is this stretch of about a mile that has marsh on either side. Chock full of Lightning bugs! Magical.

I can’t shake the Joshua Tree Z!

Morning all!

A little hung over from last night. The show was a lot of fun, and since it was at a private club, it was a BYO kind of thing. We brought a six pack of Budweiser.

I definitely wasn’t drunk, but I’m definitely a little bit hung over this morning…

Self-induced, I know. No pity! Just regret! 😂😂😂😂

Perfect Time Capsule: 1961 Plymouth Fury Has Original Everything, Forward Look Bling

If I had a penny for every so-called unrestored survivor that was repainted and had an engine swap, I'd have enough to buy a pristine 1970 Plymouth Cuda. But while we are forced to take this term with a grain of salt nowadays, true unrestored survivors do exist. This 1961 Plymouth Fury is one of them and is downright spectacular.
Man, just look at the ugly paint and all the lines on that car… I find that absolutely beautiful!
