Anyone from the UK?

I'm pretty good at remembering to put it out, bringing it back in however 🤔
Oh yes, I’m not perfect. Though I’m aware people may think we are on holiday and burgle us! But some on my street are so bad I suspect this is there second home 🤣

Good morning!

I am heading to northern Germany on part 2 of my holiday in the morning. I cut my holiday in 2 parts to be able to go to 2 leaving parties of 2 colleagues from my team who are leaving. That‘s a lot of „2“s…..LOL.
Say hello. :) Depending on where you went exactly.

Yep. Completely forgot, as usual. My lovely neighbour, who insists on being helpful without warning, had already wheeled my black bin out, expecting (like normal people would) for my rubbish to all be ready. (It wasn’t. I have a room bin and a bathroom bin that in my head don’t count the same as my kitchen bin… ‘cleaner’ things are binned in my bedroom than my kitchen, don’t ask I’m particular)

So anyway, I’m flying down the stairs in nothing but a T-shirt and slippers, (did I mention I had been in a teams call with my boss, so swiftly had to apologise MID meeting and let him know the bin man is here.) whilst clutching a bag from the bathroom in one hand and the upstairs rubbish in the other, shouting out the windows of my house at him to slow down. He didn’t even hear me and by the time I was outside they were already removing the bins from across the road. And hello? I have anxiety, there was no way I was going to shout ACROSS the road at them.

Hate putting this weeks rubbish into next weeks clean black bin. Even more so if it’s blue.

Even worse, I’ll probably forget, AGAIN, by next time.

Rubbish rant over! 🗑️🖤
You lost me at "nothing but a T-shirt and slippers ..." 😜

Why not just walk further down the same side of your road and put your stuff in someone else's bin?

FWIW, our bin day is Tuesday and any Bank Holiday Monday really does fuck things up 🤬

Also a lot of holidays!

I got caught out by heavy rain on my walk earlier and sheltered under a huge oak tree. I stood as close as I could to avoid drips and finally hugged the trunk. I'm not a tree hugger but it occurred to me that it had seen two world wars... and my birth. I realised then that it would witness my death as well.
In the end I got bored and walked home through the rain. Boots are still drying. June
