If anyone knows the easy way to friend someone there, perhaps you could help.

If anyone is having a problem viewing our servers (threads) on Discord...not the main site, then let us know. There seems to be a function to 'invite' (to the servers) but as everyone seems to be commenting etc on the servers I guess it's not a universal problem. The original link(s) posted here should take people straight to the servers.

As I mentioned before, we'll play around there a bit but it's more as a backup if things become unworkable here.

I had the error message when I first clicked through your invite, then wondered if it was because I didn’t have an account. I set up a basic account and then came back here and clicked the invite again and it worked.

I'm totally confused with Discord, Richard - I see under Vanessa's name a General, an Images and a gifs file - am I in the correct area as there seems little by way of content, just a lot of comments?

Also, have you cancelled 'copy' permissions on SP?

Yes, you're not alone; I haven't had the time to study the site in great detail but I find it difficult to work out what's what.

I think the main site/another site ? is Lit in the Dark. I really don't know what it has to with Discord but they are definitely related. We (vanessa) had the ability to create a 'server' as they put it. Like a site within a site I suppose. It's all very impressive that's for sure.

EctoJohn, who must've joined there already, was kind enough to send us a link to Discord, , similar to the one I then loaded up here at Lit, and many people followed, as things at Lit were a bit dodgy....which gave direct access to the server we then set up. There is a general thread then there's pic and vids and vids and gifs. Have loaded one or two things to both threads, although the site calls them servers. I'm not crazy about it. To the modern day techno wiz, I'm sure it's a breeze, a walk in the park. Not for me. To me it's a labyrinth, overly complicated and jazzy....not intuitive. Lit and SP are much more straight forward. So whilst we're able to use these two sites, we'll stick with them until we get more of a handle on Discord. If the wheels fall off here we should be able to be reached at Discord (or SP).

For anyone who is having trouble....I think you need to join the site first then ask for a link to Vanessa's server.

As time permits will continue studying the site and load a few things. It's time consuming enough at the moment with Lit and SP.

I'll check the settings at SP.

A problem for us at Discord is the limit on the file size. 10mb doesn't allow you much in the way of vids or gifs.......maybe a small gif.

You can join up to a thing called Nitro (even more complicating) to get more upload limit. We're already paying for SP. We don't need another subs.
