So I just got a text from Robbie (which prompted this post). It's a picture of a really old, rusted, ugly car in our driveway. He told me this weekend that he was going to buy it, but I never expected something that would look as bad as this one looks.

I forgot to tell everyone that Robbie sold his project car and got what he asked for it. I never thought anyone would pay that much for a restored car, but whatever. Seeing that, I asked him, why not make this hobby his job? He said he never thought of it, but I am already envisioning a larger business. He's really good at it.

I guess he's a small business now!

Do forum posts have a maximum length limit? I searched for an answer and couldn't find anything, except someone said you can't post complete stories in the forums. What constitutes a complete story? Is there a length limit?

I believe there is a 10,000 character limit per post. Don’t quote me, but I’ve gone over whatever the limit is a few times and I’ve just broken into a couple of different posts.

It's like this thread only has two conditions: feast or famine.

On Wednesday evening, I had a date with Alex. On Friday, Robbie started converting my laptop over to Linux. He ran into some problems, so I was without my laptop until yesterday (Saturday). That meant I couldn't work on my post about my date with Alex all that time. Yesterday, Travis moved back in, and yesterday evening I went to Jack's quarterly meet up to help with his presentation.

How will I ever get all this written up?

Before Robbie started working on my laptop, I had already been working on a post about my date with Alex. But I guess I like to write with too much detail, because that post is getting really long, and it's not even halfway finished. But those details speak volumes about Alex and me, and those details are very salacious. I hate to give them up.

So now what do I do? Do I write a condensed post and summarize everything that has happened since Wednesday? Or do I finish the post I have started and leave the remaining happenings to follow whenever?

When I began this thread, I was afraid I wouldn't have enough to write about. Now in my life there is Travis, Alex, Jack, and Robbie, and I've seen all of them in under a week! Never in my wildest dreams could I have ever imagined being in this situation.

I will be back as soon as I can. I have to decide how to best write all this up.

Hello Everyone,

I am sorry I have been away for so long, but remember the training I attended in New Orleans? I was excited that my employer wanted me to get that training at this point in my career. I am considered young in my industry, but it meant that I should be well positioned to take on some new responsibilities some time in the future. Well little did I know they wanted me to take on additional responsibilities like...NOW.

There were some personnel changes, and now I have a lot of additional work until I come up to speed on this new stuff. In the meantime, I have Robbie, Travis, Jack, and Alex texting me throughout the day.

Earlier in this thread someone said, "Be careful what you wish for." Oh, how true that is! But why does it all have to come at once?

I have so much to tell you, I just need time to write it all down. Please bear with me. It could be another week or so. After I update this thread, then I will respond to DM's.
