What a bummer.Nobody is free of problems. But I really won't allow sportsball fanatics to create more of them for me anymore.

No hate from me at all. It’s not my jam, but I fully support others others finding things that bring them joy.Yeah, well, for some of us they actually do. I am not trying to twist anyone’s arm. I just find the whole ‘Sportsball’ cliche and hate to be pretty fucking pointless. You go get after it though.
by the amount of sexual assaults still occurring…. It makes me think that most men would prefer to live in a place like Gilead where they would have the freedom to do the things they want to women without judgement.
Yes!!!!They fight for legislative control over women’s bodies. Women’s rights vary state by state, but men’s don’t? There is a core in this country who most certainly wants Gilead (although, they likely see themselves in positions of power and privilege and will still be able to do whatever they want).
Are you watching The Handmaid’s Tale? I’m so here for the revolution! The only thing wrong with the last episode is that it needed to be twice as long and with a stabbing montage.
I never watched the show, but I read the original novel - and the idea behind it is the thinking found precisely in the USA after all. Yes!!!!
Omg yes.
I said yesterday that I’ve never wanted Tv characters to die so badly in my life.
Junes speech to aunt Lydia … fucking chefs kiss.

I don't think I could read it anymore. When I was still a teenager, sure. These days I am way more sensitive.I reread the novel after watching the first season of the show. And then I read The Testaments as soon as it came out. Highly recommend it, too!
Worst part of this season… knowing we have to wait a year for the Testaments.SAME! I was watching on the edge of my seat! I also LOVED Janine’s softly spoken “thanks.” That girl needs a win and I desperately want her reunited with her daughter.
I’m hoping Naomi doesn’t survive. Was thrilled about Bell. I go so back and forth on Nick, but I do want him to survive.
June’s speech -

The word “happy” has evolved into a somewhat ubiquitous meaning of good tidings. It’s more of a “good luck” gesture."Happy Memorial Day"
Seriously we're honoring those who DIED!
"Good morning/afternoon/evening" is all I use.The word “happy” has evolved into a somewhat ubiquitous meaning of good tidings. It’s more of a “good luck” gesture.
Agreed, the term should not be ascribed to a day of remembrance. What should be used instead?
A guess I should add a caveat. Summer is great when I'm in a exhibitionist mood. Otherwise, meh.Summer is overrated.
Agree! Except when I can spend the day at the beach, summer can go jumpSummer is overrated.
I don't disagree about it here. The BDSM community, here and elsewhere, has become hyper fixated on shoving everyone involved in BDSM into heavily delineated categories and then telling people how they must think and feel and act within each category.
It strikes me as odd that people who pride themselves on being outside the mainstream conventionality feel the need to be so fucking conventional and normative within their own community.![]()
Some of us with calves can't wear normal or skinny jeansWide leg pants are not flattering on almost anyone.
I don't think that's what she is referring to. But I somewhat disagree with her, sometimes they can be really flattering with the right ensemble and the correct cut. Some of us with calves can't wear normal or skinny jeans

I’m sure there are body types and outfits that wide leg pants are perfect for and look great, but my controversial opinion is that those are few and far betweenI don't think that's what she is referring to. I find secret pants best. So wide that you think it's a wide skirt.I’m sure there are body types and outfits that wide leg pants are perfect for and look great, but my controversial opinion is that those are few and far between
I’ll be even more controversial and rank the cuts for women!Of course, this is only my personal preference.
Flare > boot cut > skinny > boyfriend > wide leg
