Instead of bashing Trump...

You started the topic, and your MAGA fans ran off into the weeds with you in tow. None of them added any likes about democrats, did they?

Dude, you were not serious about the topic at all, it seems. Why should a 'left' person bother?I

I like Radicalized democrats. They’re so damn entertaining! Look at the daily material on this Forum!

If you lefties don't care to express your love for your own party and would rather bash Trump and Republicans, it says more about you all than this silly thread. :)
I mean you have seen some good answers but you choose to ignore or respond with snark.

I don't have a party but I like that Democrats seem to defend personal liberty a lot more than Republicans lately.

I like that Democrats show compassion for the poor and marginalized. Not unlike a certain Jewish carpenter who once walked around with his good buddies.

I like that Democrats don't hate people because they speak different, or look different, or love different

I like that Democrats know what the Constitution is and defend it with honor.

This is all opinion based. Can't really argue someone's opinion. I believe that you believe Democrats are the superior race. Lol. :)

Shark snark talking. You asked for what the 'left' liked and you got some answers. Then mock them.

Insecurity at your helm. Sorry that.

Why don't you post what you like about the democratic party.

Ra ra sis boom ba!

I'll start. I love how tolerant they are. :)
I know you're asking this sarcastically, but historically the Democratic Party's been the party of the labor movement, the welfare state, the civil rights movement, the war on poverty, and the gay rights movement, among other things. I understand not everybody likes or supports these things, but I do, and so I support them. Now, granted, they were often dragged kicking and screaming into supporting these things, but they supported them anyway.

Today? Tough to say. The party is pretty impotent, its ideology directionless, and its leadership leaves much to be desired. I don't love much about the Democrats today, but they're the only bulwark against the right, and while I shake my head at them today, I know what they've been in the past, and so I know what they can be - if lead properly - in the future

You must be new here. Hi! I'm ann.. 👋
Not new, I'm Don Mallord. Not ducky mallard as Lance misuses my name as snark. Others here call me idiot, stupid or old dumb fuck when I write and reply to them with data or statements that counter their core lies. Most of them are ill-tempered and sadly lacking in etiquette after that. I haven't found much of that in your replies, just some occasional snark. I'm okay with that. If you look back, you'll see I 'liked' some of your responses in the past. I've liked some of the other's reponses as well. Points are due when they make rational sense.

I signed on to Lit in June 2020. Check my profile for other related info bits, and you will see I am nearly as old as dirt, as the saying goes.

I frequent and post here often while reading your responses as I check in regularly in the politics forum. I'm familiar with your terse, short responses.

My writings are also posted in Lit. They mostly consist of short stories in various genres. I’ve tried a bit in nearly every category, leaving about four or five to go. Some comments call my writing a bit snarky sometimes. It's true.

None of these deals with the topic of this thread. 👋

Not supporting a corrupt sex offender for high office is not dependent on overwhelming devotion to another individual or party.

Waking up in the morning and having some sort of idea of what policies the government have is preferable to looking to see what has changed overnight.

Historically, you're close to correct.

Now, about today's Democrat party... How about you post some of the things you like about it?

I like that the Democrats have supported both Israel and Ukraine in their current wars. They took a lot of heat from the left for supporting Israel, and from the right for supporting Ukraine, but they still did the right thing.
The Biden administration were pro-Hamas and anti-Israel.

Thumbs up for a polite response. Much respect here. ;)

The Dems are like those minion guys looking for a villain to lead them. :)

The Dems these days resemble the various gangs from the old movie The Warriors.

For the moment most of them have set aside their differences to jointly attack the dreaded Orange Man.

But just as soon as he's gone they'll go right back to killing each other both rhetorically and literally.

Really, their penchant for violence against each other is writ clear when one gang of Democrats is busily attacking the Tesla vehicles that are mostly owned by yet a different gang of Democrats. :poop:

Now, about today's Democrat party... How about you post some of the things you like about it?

From Biden I liked the expanded Child Tax Credit (while it lasted) and his labor board appointments / labor policy overall, and there's a few governors / members of Congress I admire. The Sanders runs, especially the first one, gave me hope that there's more of a demand for social democracy out there than I had thought, although his successors admittedly aren't as impressive. It's not much, but we're in a pretty right-wing age so I have to take what I can get lol

Then you should ♥️♥️ LOVE ♥️♥️ the Big Beautiful Bill because it increases the child tax credit to $2500 for the next 3 years then makes it permanent at $2000.

Say; Thank You Mr. President.
