Pitting cherries for jam
What a pain
And my fingers are red
Wow. I'm so amazed how much ahead of us you southerner's are. The cherries are in blossom now, and should have ripe fruit by the first or second week of August. Blackberries a week or so after that. Raspberries in between those usually.

Apples, September to October, variety dependent.

Shit! I've been doing it wrong this whole time, using a cherry pitter! Learn something new even darned day... šŸ˜‚
Here at the CafƩ we are always happy to help...
Pop the cherry in your mouth and spit out the seed. Go to the store and buy a pie...much easier.
See? Even better technique from Rj šŸ˜‰

Goodnight all. Long day.

Just work. I had a consult with an oral surgeon after work. I had no root canal tooth that broke. I just saw. I left it in there, and when I went for my cleaning last week, my dentist was like, ā€œthat’s still there? Get rid of that thing!ā€

Set a date for August 7 with my two big project deadline dates will be passed by then.

Watched a couple episodes of Jeopardy and made the missus some salad for dinner. (of course you know that I offered to toss her salad… But was rebuffed.) šŸ˜‡

She got some of her bloodwork results in today and she definitely does have some type of Lyme. The rest of the blood panel should be done tomorrow. They put her on doxycycline.

We’ve been sleeping separately, because of her bad arm.

These are tart cherries. They need some cooking to release all that cherry flavor.

Otherwise, I'd be eating them right off the tree.
Oooh, those are the "healthy" "good for you" cherries
Noice!
Nope... heading home on Sunday and we will be home monday....yawn
That's a marathon vacation, girl! While exhausting, such great memories and special quality time with mom šŸ«‚ 🄰

Everyone feel better.... that's an order

I remember the day i injured my back. I was fairly young. I didn’t pay much attention to it but over the years it hurt but not to the point i paid it match attention. As i aged it became more pronounced. I’ve tried chiropractic, orthopedic, several RFAs and cortisone shots. The MRI shows one disk slightly compressed and arthritis on both sides if lower spine. I refer to it as my ā€œfriendā€. Always there and on occasion very irritating. The only thing I’ve found as a relationship is that the pain is proportional to my waist size. If i keep my BMI in check the pain is so much less irritating. I’ve also noticed that if i train with at trainer using resistance training the stronger my core the less the pain.
I read a book called The Barbell Prescription: Strength Training for Life After 40 based upon my experience i agree with the author. Even doing all of the above on occasion it still bites but usually is short lived. That’s been my experience. I have to admit on occasion the RFAs really helped allot.

Hence the quote ā€œIf i knew i was going to live so long i would of taken better care of myselfā€. Good luck.
From my favorite philosopher Red Green "Remember, I'm pullin' for ya," and "We're all in this together"
The more core strength one has, the more support for the back. šŸ‹ļøā€ā™€ļø
