We show our light sabers as this is "May the fourth be with you" day.Hej Dansker!
Det er den 4. Maj
- tænder du også lys i aften?
80 år er der gået
Glem ikke fortiden.
Do not mind the silly peacock in the garden! Literally!!

Yes. That's a much more important event to remember. I didn't realize that's what you were referencing.I know, star wars have not lived (?) in vain.
It is 80 years since we were liberated from the Nazis. A bit of a different thing to celebrate.![]()
You have peafowl in your garden, too?!Hej Dansker!

- we had to block out the light from our windows, so that the hostile airplanes could not navigate at night, using the lights from the cities as guidance when they flew in the dark.
A very simple way to show life and resilience, lighting a candle in that windowsill, for 5 years the Danes had to meticulously hang light blocking curtains, staying indoor.. Being occupied by the Nazis.
Now, we remember by still lighting our candles, not closing the curtains, but continuing living and living well.
Hej @Cat

Glitter chickens is such a delightful turn of phrase! I call them disco chickensYou have peafowl in your garden, too?!

Not thinking it is Mother's Day where you are, but since it is in the States. Happy Mother's Day anyway LOL. hope you are having a great weekend.
