Naivete is that dazzling superpower that lets you walk through a minefield with a blindfold and a grin, convinced the loud ticking is just your lucky watch. It's not innocence, it’s intellectual negligence dressed up as wide-eyed wonder. MR doesn't know that naivete doesn’t make you pure, it makes you lunch. So, go ahead BB and chow down.Harvard is a private university that gets boatloads of public funding. Going fully private is an option they might be considering.
Why do you think this diatribe was support for your friend?Naivete is that dazzling superpower that lets you walk through a minefield with a blindfold and a grin, convinced the loud ticking is just your lucky watch. The New York Times first reported the GSA’s letter.
“As you know, being a counterparty with the federal government comes with the deep responsibility and commitment to abide by all federal laws and ensure the safeguarding of taxpayer money,” the letter said.
“As fiduciaries to the taxpayer, the government has a duty to ensure that procurement dollars are directed to vendors and contractors who promote and champion principles of nondiscrimination and the national interest.”

They're educating students and conducting research. That's in the national interest. To find a university not serving the national interest you have to look pretty far afield -- as far as, say, Liberty University or Patrick Henry College.I was referring to America's national interests, not yours.
Bill Ackman (NOT "Ackerman") is one of the worst Americans alive today.Bill Ackerman on Harvard:

That was three years ago and doesn't include any cuts from this year.
The source is the National Center for Science and Engineering citing actual spending at $789 billion in 2021 and projecting $886 billion in 2022. If you have a more recent figure you’re welcome to share it but we both know that it’s close to or more than a trillion in 2023, 24, and 25.That was three years ago and doesn't include any cuts from this year.
Maybe look at the article I posted which is up to date![]()
