But I also love the longer discussions. I am...wordy. I get teased for it in some spaces, but it is who I am.

Honestly, I’d rather see wordy posts than hundreds of one line posts. It’s hard to learn anything about the people with that kind of posting. when someone writes a longer post, I can see their thoughts and ideas. That’s what I like about Lit.

It really depends. Formats like Cock Talk or so.e of PLP's threads, create a format to drive discussion on specific topics. Things might veer into different discussions, but we all start in the same place. However, when someone just drops a 5 paragraph dissertation into a friendly discussion, I can't bring g myself to read it all.

In my mind I've bisected threads into two categories: Quick Chat & Discussions. Both serve a purpose, and which I find interesting is highly dependent on my mood.

There certainly are limits to what I’ll read. For sure. Many posts can just be so long you get bored by the end.

And the fast moving threads do serves purpose for many. They aren’t my cup of tea normally. But sometimes they’re fun enough for a quick chat.

Overall, I find the discussion threads much more enjoyable. PLP and HW both do excellent when it comes to creating meaningful conversation.

No. They just moved on and lived life. Or they've died Lit has been around since the turn of the century. When I joined it was a very different community. It's wild to me that I'm now considered an elder in some senses.

I would hope that on Variations, as most of the pics are not nudes, then we will still be able to.

For most pics either embedding them directly on lit, or using imgur as it has escaped the ban on directly linking pics because (I assume) of its existing no nudity policy will work.

If you're unsure about whether a pic will get past Lit's idiosyncratic automated nudity detection tool (what's that, AI is acceptable now? ) then use imgur.

If you know it's going to be pulled, and/or imgur rejects it for being too damn sexy, then link it (welcome to being a bloke on Lit ).

Hopefully, this will allow a free flowing thread as was largely the case before...

How does this new pic policy affect your interest in being on Lit?

It makes Lit less appealing, but not completely unappealing. Losing non-sexual gif reactions is a big hit, in my opinion.

What solutions do you have that could find a middle ground to make this work?

Explicit photos and gifs must be hidden. Lit owners can define what’s explicit. Then there has to be consistent moderation with bans for repeat offenders. Regular gifs and photos are fine.

Do you have a Doomsday plan for when Lit collapses and all your favorite people disperse?

I’ll likely take it as a sign that it’s time to publicly masturbate elsewhere. Starbucks, anyone?

Depends on the thread. Some are worth the trouble, some aren’t. I’m not willing to go link by link in the gif threads on the GB, for example. But I definitely would for those listed above.
