Comments That Make Your Day

The always-lovely @Nynah left a sweet comment (below) on "What the maid saw and did", which is a collaboration with @PennyThompson for the Virtual Conference event. It was a joyful piece to write but a tricky challenge to blend characters from different stories and authors and keep them authentic. Thanks Nynah, and also thanks Penny :)

You and Penny really knocked this one out of the park, I loved it! Full marks for the wonderfully done enby representation as well as Hiraya's Filipina heritage; I feel like there's not enough of either on this site. The sex was hot and steamy (who knew Jeremy would be such an in-demand stud? Scout, probably...), so this was an all-around delight to read. Thank you both! And well done to everyone who's participated in the event. 😊

I just git what is my favorite comment I have ever gotten. My story (The Aureur) is my entry for the Virtual Literotica Convention contest. It doesn't exactly fit the spirit of the contest in some ways, so I was nervous about it.

"Thank you so much for this story! The Aureur thing is a unique take on conference attendance and you've also handled it really carefully. He builds walls around himself, and gets hurt when he allows them to be broken by Mary, but still has a positive experience. Maybe this will give him some courage for the future?

Also, the first scene with Mary is very hot :)"

A nice comment on Homeless this morning:

"Every time I feel that my tear ducts are clogged, I read this story again and it’s like magic! My tear ducts are no longer clogged and are flowing freely. Thank you!!"

This comment on one of my latest stories "Neverland, Don't Go Back There!" came from my usual nemesis, 26thNC:

*****************************
Old Wendy had quite the wild child past to hide. You gotta stay away from those high school and college reunions, especially when alcohol is involved. Past indiscretions are difficult to hide when a lot of your old acquaintances’ tongues are loosened with alcohol. It’s getting hard to talk trash to old Lifestyle66 when he’s posting these unusually, for him, good stories.
*****************************

WOW! I might assume he gave me at least a 3 on that story!
Actually I gave you *5 for that one. Yeah, I was shocked too. I even found myself defending you from an anonymous comment attacking a comment you made on another story. I’m getting mellow in my 50’s, I’ve even agreed with a couple of Ic69hunter’s comments recently.

I just received this Feedback email from what is, apparently, a very consistent reader:

Well I’ve just finished the last of your currently posted works, including the ToddEverman account.

I am particularly fond of The Angels & Demons Universe stories and hope there’s more to come.

I can honestly say there was only one story that I didn’t care for, ā€œElves Gone Wildā€. It was still a well told tale, just too many things that just aren’t me. If it was a movie I could see it doing well at the box office, I just wouldn’t be in the audience.

For the scent fetish, I think you did a particularly good job with that in ā€œScents And Sensitivityā€, and ā€œThe Scent of Love and Lustā€.

With one exception, throughout all of your works, including each part of a series I thought you did a fantastic job with finding an appropriate point to stop. ā€œNight of the Giving Headā€ being the exception, the epilogue just seemed to try to be too much. Kinda like watching the original Star Wars movie, and then the other 8 episodes crammed into a single 2 hour movie.

One of the things I truly enjoy is your versatility as a writer. You can take things dark, but also do lighthearted pieces, and you venture into multiple categories. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

I’ve tried to comment as much as possible, but as one writer commented somewhere ā€œif readers could write comments they would be writers instead of readersā€. I’m just a reader.

Although I’ve only favorited 4 of your works, that’s mainly because I’m hyper selective for that. Honestly, the entirety of the Angels and Demons collection (from both you and EmilyMiller), would just be the starting point.

I mean seriously... ALL my stories???

That alone made my year.

Disturbingly mellow, yes, but it also gives your critical comments more credibility. Win win!

Mƶbius Ascendant is set in a western town caught up in a fractured temporal time loop. The various parts of the story take place at the same time as a result of it. It seems to be well received as these comments indicate.

…All five stars for this intriguing and entertaining tale that bends believability and strains credulity... and has more than a light touch of snark as well. This was certainly very nicely done... thanks for a fun ride.

Wow that was a mind bending wild ride. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Excellent work. Fun and impressive.

These are a few that make me smile.

"Of all the erotic fiction I've read so far, THIS was hands-down the best story to date!
You just did such an absolutely perfect job with the impregnation fetish here, not to mention that you are the first author I've read to also get the whole panties fetish right.
5/5 STARS!"

"please write more!

Your obvious talent as a writer needs to be shared more with your readers! I would appeal especially for you to write more for the Romance genre, which gets too little attention on the site. I am not of the opinion that the erotic element needs to be downplayed or ignored in this genre, nor that its explicitness needs to be eliminated. Rather, the erotic element simply needs to be handled in a special way for the Romance genre. For example, your lovely story A Dream Come True could almost have been classified as Romance, but the threesome element of part of it with a married couple justified its classification as Erotic Couplings. It is not the erotic element per se, but how it is handled that determines where it should be classified. Your classifications have been spot on. So- please keep writing, and thank you!"

Absolutely the top story. It leaves me trembling as the sex unfolds. I imagine how exciting the intercourse would be with the risk of impregnating her. I love the "bareback" part of making love because that is the way sex was intended. The added excitement of the sister being present hints that she would be next to receive his seed.

A couple of my readers left these comments on my story Homecoming:

ToughSailorover
Absolutely beautiful prose. Probably the most pleasant read I've come across in this genre. My only regret is that he and Ida didn't get to connect . .

OMG what a wonderful story. This is one of the top 10 stories on this site that I have enjoyed and to tell the truth it brought tears to my eyes. This is one of a kind in my mind so THANK YOU for sharing it with us.
It's my highest-rated story at a 4.81. I originally submitted it to the Erotic Couplings category but it got moved to Incest Taboo, I believe because of a passing mention in the story of a brother/sister liaison. At first I was a bit POd that it got moved thinking it would get torpedoed in that category because of the storyline, but after the votes and comments started coming in I was pleasantly surprised.

I pride myself on keeping my ego in check (or at least trying to). It's damned difficult to do when readers leave comments like this. Me thinks it's time for some self-flagellation and ashes on the head to keep things in balance.

Whew, that was surprisingly hot! There are plenty of catgirl stories, but not enough catboys😸 Great physical descriptions, and I love that Felix was still slim and slinky and catlike in his humanoid form šŸ˜

If it's really a dream, Alice is going to feel VERY awkward around her cat now 😳
This is from my story My Cat Felix. I'm always pleasantly surprised to get a comment on a story, but to get it from such a talented author is uplifting on a whole new level.

On my next to last story (The Perfect Sunset) which is my first Romance

Clever and dialogue driven - 5.0*

(I was particularly happy with the banter between the two MC, so this made my day.)

A widowed teacher befriends an orphan who is infatuated with her. Through photography, she helps him build his self-confidence. In this coming-of-age story, the small-town gossip aims to ruin her reputation and her job as a high school teacher. What unfolds from this situation is what the reader below found so unexpected!

"What a delightful, beautifully written story made even better with that (for me) totally unexpected twist at the end. Loved it!!!"

Sweetie, I don't think you realise that's exactly how people like myself and Helen feel when YOU comment on our stories!
Given that I'm a living incarnation of imposter syndrome, no, I definitely did not realize that. But I'll take your word for it.:kiss:

A nice comment this morning on Homeless:

"Rags to riches in 4 days? LOL! Really good read , fast paced and caring. Thanks"

Busy day for comments:

Homeless

"Sparkling. Five stars. Nuff said."

Hidden Boss

1/ "Well done. Five well earned stars from me."

2/I understand Gordo's issues with trolls and his closing off comments in some cases
Just s note about my policy. Without exceptions, whenever I see that I can't comment, I go back and remove one star, no matter the quality of the story. I understand that a single star is almost inconsequential, but I do it anyway. My own tiny rebellion against the Man.
(Author Note: Nobody ever called me "The Man" before. I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted. I usually write against society's ills. I must be slipping! 🤣)

Following Laura's Footsteps

This is a five star story. One small item. I thought the litany of excesses at the beginning was a bit much I get it. He was overspending for his excesses. Could have skipped a few examples of that.
