Ok yeah Caitlin Clark is the Curry of WNBA but the original post said he wanted to lick her so of course we gotta think of the WNBA girls we'd actually wanna lick haha...as for the Jordan of the WNBA will have to wait at least 30+ years of existence before anyone can compare to NBA history/records...You actually bring up a good point. Who IS the WNBA version of Bird/Jordan? I can name a handful of players but I’ll freely admit I knew them more for their college exploits than their professional. Tirasi, Sue Bird, Parker just to name a few. I would or could argue Clark IS that version of greatness.
You can nit-pick her game and that’s fair. All great players have an Achilles Heel in some aspect of their game especially coming into the league. Maybe not Bird or Lebran but you get my point. Jordan was looked at as “soft” even though the rest of his game was complete. Clark is only on her second season. I’m sure she knows where she falls short.
It could go the opposite direction also. She could fall into WNBA anonymity. Like the others I mentioned above, they were all great players that sort of faded into the collective consciousness. As of right now, Clark is moving the needle and more eyes are watching the WNBA than ever before.
Her greatness? Only time will tell.
