Would you meet someone from Lit for coffee?

Would have considered it before, but I guess the answer is “no” now. ☹️ Had a chance to meet a Lit friend this weekend, but apparently am still too self-conscious about the marks left by the semi-emergency minor-ish surgery a couple months ago 🫣
It’s ok to feel self conscious, not ready, or not interested in meeting up. Just know most people think of them as battle hero medals 🤩

Also, I’d totally be up for a @Kitty_so_frisky brunch and hangout 😊

I’m sure you know deep down they wouldn’t be paying attention to that; hope you get the opportunity again

Thanks, but I don’t see it that way. It was minor-ish medically, but visually…kinda devastating

I’ve considered this since the first time
I posted and still stick with probably not, mostly for the fact I seriously doubt anyone would want to meet me for such a thing 🤷‍♂️

Don’t sell yourself so short - I bet tons of people would love to meet you for coffee, and you wouldn’t even have to be the one serving it! If you were ever in my neck of the woods, I would!

I did once and it was amazing but too short. The tension was palpable and every single time I drive past the place I think of her and long to see her again.

There are a couple of litsters here who I definitely would have over the years. I'm not sure either of them are still here. The main problem, as ever, is logistics. Not only are they in the wrong countries, but the wrong continents too. 8-12 hours out of time zone, it's difficult to make coffee work.
