Well, my legit, American HH Strat is still the best of the lot, I have really been enjoying playing these and I love rewiring and stuff like that. So satisfying when the guitar really plays and sounds great.

In Milan Italy, I misplaced my mobile phone whilst tipsy, went back to the restaurant to check if it was on the floor under the table. Waiter and I on the floor, found someone's earring and a credit card. No phone.
One of the new customers on the table said in Italian "Look at the stupid American laughing when she just lost her phone".
Simultaneously me and the waiter gasp and exclaim "AUSTRALIANA!" And then I said in very broken Italian - "I am in Italy, there is no better joy than seeing the home of art, renaissance and science. Fuck the phone if it is gone!” The table laughed and bought me a bottle of wine. Found the phone under the couch opposite the lift where I must have dropped it and kicked it under there when I stumbled back to my room.

I've lived in VT, NYC and Phoenix AZ. I can fake being an American but I can genuinely say that would not bring any benefit to me at all. Aussies are loved almost everywhere except Bali and Thailand where we turn into heavy drinking bogans.I am glad you feel so passionate about not being confused with being an American.
