Florida executes Glen Rogers for 1995 Hillsborough murder
STARKE — Glen Rogers, who almost 30 years ago stabbed a woman to death in a Tampa motel room, died Thursday evening as chemicals coursed through his veins.
Rogers was executed by lethal injection at Florida State Prison for the 1995 murder of Tina Marie Cribbs, a mother of two who’d met him in a Gibsonton bar. It was one of several killings Rogers, known as the “Casanova Killer” and the “Cross-Country Killer,” is suspected to have committed throughout the nation.
He directed the last part of his statement at President Donald Trump.
“Keep making America great,” Rogers said. “I’m ready to go.”
