Only The Strong just kills me. It's a song that sounds like it's perpetually about to fall apart given that the bass and drums are frequently off on wild excursions or leaving space in the sonic landscape, but it all works thanks to the fantastic musicianship of the guys.

I came across this song on this thread and quickly adopted it into my playlist. I listened to it over and over and over and wept through the hard feelings that come with the end of a marriage. I danced to it alone. I danced to it with my kids. We sang it together. It really helped me and gosh I still love it, even though I don't listen to it as frequently anymore

Ooof, I’m getting caught up after an atrocious stretch of evenings at work.

It was funny then and it’s funny now. Back in my late 20s, I had a FWB who was a few years younger than me. He was tall and handsome and a bartender who wanted to be a rock star. The sex was great and we got along pretty well.

I think it was our 3rd “date” when he asked if it was ok if he brought his guitar over. Ummm, ok.

So he proceeds to play this song and I’m pretty confident this was my face the entire time
