Fans claim to despise your stories but read and comment multiple times.

I have fans (26th and something is one) who read my stories, claim to despise them, but have commented multiple times over the years. I assume they’re rereading them over and over over the years.

There’s a group of people who do this and are systematically voting down my stories to get them below 4.5.

Anyone else?

I think it’s great I get this much attention. It shows my writing really makes people feel something. They’re so ashamed of how the stories make them feel that they attack them over and over.

It's their hobby! Without our stories to open and diss, they'd have no life! I've noticed on a few of my stories, when I bothered to stay up late and see the results as soon as they're posted, I've had as many as four 1's within the first ten minutes!!! How fast can anyone really read 20K words?

I've not had the score down bullshit, but I'm amused that in a couple of chaptered stories, the chapters with a bit of man on man action have a views and upwards score bounce when compared to the chapters before and after. I've always put that down to blokes saying, "I'm not gay, but I'll read it twice to make sure."

In any case it never fails to amaze me the number of room temperature IQ, mouth breathing, window licking, absolute retards who come to an erotic stories site, head to the non-consent section and who are then shocked...SHOCKED and OUTRAGED to find...wait for it...wait...OMFG!!! NON-CONSENT STORIES!!!

These stupid fuckers get all upset as if my characters are real people!

I don't know why he kept coming back to the story, but I never reply to comments, or delete them, so I don't know if he kept coming back to see if I would, or just arguing with himself.

But it is funny seeing for some reason people hold in high regard for a troll.

I had one of those a while ago. I don't know if he hated my stories exactly, but he routinely missed points that might as well have been posted in 10-foot high neon letters (i.e. "I don't even know whether the protagonist is male or female!" when that was mentioned in the very first paragraph). I'd love to know just why he kept coming back to them.

IIRC, he has the dubious distinction of having one of like four comments I’ve deleted in my entire time here, this one for racist bullshit on a romance story where the two characters happened to be of different ethnicities.

I had people flip out about a non-consent scene once. It was part of a larger story and was meant to establish a villain. In their defense, I should have put a warning. So, that was on me. Lesson learned. It can be a very touchy subject, even in fantasy, and even if it's portrayed as a truly evil act. But to actually seek it out and then get mad when you find it? Ridiculous.
