Had my first "Trump Tariff" experience yesterday.

I own a Samsung refridgerator with a built-in water dispenser. The filtration cylinders are a must in Houston (hard-water alkaline capitol of the world), so I pay anywhere from 29.99 to 39.99 every four months or so for a replacement filters.

The little red "replace filter" light blinked on last Monday, so I went over to Best Buy online, only to find prices are now 49.99. Ouch. Tried Amazon. Same things.

In all honesty I'm not sure if this is an opportunistic price increase by Samsung or Trump tariffs at work.

Anyway, Amazon also offered their own Chinese-made knockoff filters for.....drum roll.....$6.66 per unit (pack of three) and had plenty in stock. I figured Beezlebub was sending me a sign (666, get it? huh? huh?) so I'm gambling on the generic at this point. They arrived this morning.

Crossing my fingers.
