After being forced to withdraw the nomination of hyperpartisan Ed Martin as US Attorney General for the District of Columbia, the Trump administration has floated the idea of yet ANOTHER Fox Talking Head in a position of power: "Judge" Jeanine Pirro.

Pirro hasn't stepped foot in a courtroom in almost 20 years (only slightly longer than our own @HisArpy but the administration feels that her acidic tongue and hyperpartisan Republican political views make her a natural to be DC's top prosecutor.

Pirro has been parodied for years for her slurred speech and imbibing glasses of wine on-air by Saturday Night Live.

These people are straight DEI hires. Not a single one has any actual admin or management experience.

Not every major leaguer becomes a coach and there's damn good reason for that. There's also a good reason why many catchers become skippers - managing.

Unlike Faux Entertainment, there's no open bar policy in the Washington DC AG's office.

She may decline the offer.

She might just be tougher than Martin. Makes you wonder, what’s next for him? Personally, I’d like to see Trump appoint him as a Special Prosecutor to go after political corruption in D.C. The irony would be delicious. And if the rumors about Tillis and his shady real estate deals hold any water, he ought to be shivering in his boots. That’s the kind of poetic justice this town’s overdue for.

Given the sordid extramarital history of former Fox News weekend anchor and current Secretary of Defense Pickled Pete Hegseth, she might be "Under Secretary of Defense" sooner or later. ;)
More like Under the Influence.

She's 73. I would prefer someone younger, but that's moot if she's in and out through the interim revolving door.
