The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Thankfully the trees are in the last spasms down our way! Just a thin dusting a few days ago and nothing when I left for work yesterday.

Went to a nice Mediterranean restaurant in Philly last night. Really good food and you tell you’re up North…thy leave the windows open! We stay in a nice area of downtown now. Seems to be a hip hapn’n area. I think I was the oldest person out walking around?🤣

Everyone have a great Thursday! Sticking with Low country MZ…

Phillys a fun town! Center city is pretty nice still. Woulda recommended the Rocky statue at the art museum (which is also really good).

South St. is usually a fun place.

I will never forget seeing a punk band, Street Dogs, play at the TLA (theater of living arts) on south street. I brought my stepson to the show, and during one song, I jumped up on the stage and sang along into the singers mic before doing a stage dive.

In that moment, just before I was about to jump off the stage into a melee of people, I saw my son standing in the back, with that look of “oh my god, he’s so fucking embarrassing!”

He was prolly 21 or 22 at that time. We still laugh about it!
😂😂😂

@HumpDayHoratio - you should do this next time you’re in Philly! 😂

I live to embarrass my younglings with zany antics that I hope they turn into fond memories of me after I'm gone.

So you're part of the "have roll eyes teenagers club" too!

Mine tries her hardest not to laugh or show any weakness to my stunts. But I see the cheeks come up when she turns away... 🤣
Founding member. At home. Out shopping, eating, exploring. With crowds or alone in the woods. I pretend I don't know what they are explaining to me then toss it back with the disguised innuendo of old knowledge.

I smirk, grin and make funny faces to break their serious moods or concentration.

I'm the big brother they never had.

Love that!

I am reminded of one day on Honeymoon Island down here a woman did not have insect repellent and was getting eaten alive, literally. She was in tears. I always carry a small bottle just just in case and I gave it to her. It stopped her getting bitten but she was going to be in agony for awhile.
They eat me alive.... and I use thus jewelweed salve from my soaps to soothe it... all natural great stuff.... I use it on everything....
